Vattamala
Vattamala (Vattappara) View Point is one of the major tourist attractions in the Grama Panchayat, drawing a large number of visitors every day. Owing to its scenic beauty and panoramic views, it has become a popular destination for nature lovers and tourists.
When the Government proposed establishing a Happiness Park in every Grama Panchayat, efforts were made to develop Vattappara into a tourist destination. However, issues related to the ownership of the land prevented the Grama Panchayat from proceeding with the project.
Nevertheless, Vattappara continues to be one of the most frequently visited view points in the Panchayat. In view of the warnings issued by the State Disaster Management Authority regarding the possibility of severe lightning, the public is advised to avoid visiting the view point during such periods to ensure their safety.
